good answer
So last night Anna would not fall asleep (she was screaming for over an hour); and Shelley was out of the house. So, I know what I did reinforces her not falling asleep yade yade yade.... but I don't care; I got her out of her crib and took her to my bed and we cuddled. Then we had a conversation.
"Anna, do you have a chicken on your head?"
"no" (with a big smile)
“Anna, do you have your jam-ies on?”
“yea”
"Anna, do you like daddy's bed?"
"Yea"
"Anna, do you love daddy?"
"yea"
"Do you love Tommy, Hunter, Joe, and Ben?"
"yea"
"Do you love Mommy?"
"yea"
"Do you love boys?"
"No, … daddy"
That's when I got a huge grin on my face. She doesn't love boys, just daddy. I then make her promise that that answer would never change.
