here we come

I'm not really in a deep share my feelings and deep insights/learnings mood (there are a ton, God is way cool), so I will simply tell you we leave next Sunday (July 9th-July 16th) to go get our two sons from Eithopia... So excited,.... Welcome (soon) home B & J.

Good Night Moon

Well, assuming our Friday court date went well in Ethiopia (we'll find out later this week) we are the proud parents of 5 kids (well, 5 in the eyes of Ethiopia, 3 in the eyes of the American Government and Humana Healthcare (until Ben & Joseph touch american soil, then it's 5)... I am fairly sure it is 5 in God's eyes)....

So I reflect on some numbers SINCE getting married:
-4.5 year of marriage to one WAY COOL and BEAUTIFUL BABE!
-We travel in 4-6 weeks to bring home our two sons.
-5 kids under 4 years old in 1 house (be it is a very nice house, sometimes I am convicted that it is too nice).
-4 houses, 11 months of two mortgages when in transitions, and 5 realtor's.... ahhhh
-2 Employers (weird to think of the church as an employer,...), 3 cities (cincy, Dayton, SouthBend)
-1.67 G4 PowerBook w/ gig ram (ha, had to get a MAC stat in there!)
-x# of guitars (leaving this number blank/hidden as it is way higher than I care to admit)

Wow, the only thing that comes to mind is SABBATH (but with soon to be 5 kids under 4....), maybe I need to figure out what a Sabbath mindset means???

Oh yea, for pictures of the family, go to my wife's blog (see "MY FAMILY" link to the right)... she is much better at that kind of stuff.
